Ifan himself has access to a special Soul Wolf empowered by Summoning. Fights tend to erupt in cramped close quarters against numerous foes, making it helpful to have area effect attacks that ignore allies like Battle Stomp, Whirlwind, and Ignition. Some of Ifan’s personal quest can be more easily completed by stealing, so consider an investment in Thievery and Stealth.
The main character will want high Persuasion, especially if they want to solve quests in ways that may upset Ifan. Players should be warned that main avatar status is assigned at character creation and cannot be changed once in the game proper. A main character Ifan has more options for letting go of the past and ways of compromising with his enemies. A companion Ifan wants to fulfill his contract efficiently and doesn’t like chit-chat.
Due to the Lone Wolves’ connection to Sebille, she and Ifan will interact with many of the same NPCs, possibly with conflicting results. His sensible approach can also appeal to Beast’s own modesty. He may have ideological disagreements with grandiose goals, like those of the Red Prince and Fane.
